Care Assistant for Home Care (Home Care Support Worker)
Location: Finglas, Balbriggan, Malahide, Swords, Blanchardstown, Dublin
Job Description: Join our new and exciting team for the delivery of high-quality Home Care services in Dublin.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, caring nature.
- Must be able to write and speak English to a high standard.
- Flexible and adaptable nature.
- Willing to travel to provide care to service users in the community.
- Person-Centred approach to supporting service users in home care.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts over 24/7.
- A Minimum of QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health Support or Equivalent (Preferred)
- A Minimum of 2 Core Modules of QQI Level 5 – Care Skills & Care of the Older Persons (Required)
- Experience in Homecare is Desirable
- Full Licence with access to a Car is Desirable
- Candidates must possess EU/EEA citizenship or currently hold an unrestricted right to work in Ireland to be considered. No visa sponsorship available.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Must have a driving licence.
